Happy Birthday to Me!

No, my birthday's not until Tuesday, but it might as well be today. Who really wants to celebrate their birthday on the last day of school, when one has class until 8pm, an insane amount of papers and last minute tests that day? So, I'm celebrating la hora de celebrar on Easter Sunday. Good times. I woke up this morning, in my own house in my own bed, to my parents singing happy birthday. They then sent me on an easter egg treasure hunt, complete with clues. I'll admit, I had struggles deciphering some of the hints, but in my defense, I was still a little groggy! Anyway, after a cute birthday card, a sweet bracelet, yummy recipes from my sister and a mission scrapbook, I found the big Kahuna! A Brand New Laptop!!

So, there you have it. I now have no excuse to not have a blog. Before, I would claim that it was like pulling teeth to do anything on my trusty desktop, and besides, the only Internet connection I had was on campus, at work. And I doubt the Widow wanted to pay me to update a blog. But now, I have a fast, shiny new computer, with fast, shiny wireless access, so look out world, here I come.
