A rose by any other name...

Some people call it Valentine's Day, others call it Singles Awareness Day. I'm gonna call it a Pretty Good Day.

I went to work, which is always enjoyable, especially now that a big deadline has passed. When I got done with work, Chris won the World's Best Brother Award when he brought me a hot pink rose (pictured above).

In keeping with the good day vibe, my class got out early, which meant my day ended early. I came home, cleaned up my room *gasp* and then relaxed until dinner, which was exceptionally good today. I read up on the Valentine's Day Massacre 2008, and was happy that Rachel and Jeremy show their love for each other by competing in geography challenge games.

Nephew Josh turned 1, and I was a little sad not to be there to see him enjoy his special chocolate cake. I would have posted pics, but Naomi hasn't posted pics on her blog yet, so I have nothing to steal. (Update: I was impatient, but then Naomi really came through. See below.)

Then I watched Lost, which was another incredibly enjoyable episode that effectively blew my mind. Who is this Ben guy already? How many more surprises can he possible have?

Now I'm blogging. And when I'm finished, I'll watch Becoming Jane. Because this...

...is how all my Valentine's Days should end.

It's good to be loved! Sounds like it was a practically perfefct day Megan. And yes, I think that ending a Valentine's Day looking at that face would be a nice cap to a perfect day.

Oh Megan, I am so happy you had such a wonderful Valentine's Day :) That just makes me so happy :)
Ps- Im still not sure I would enjoy the movie. It would probably make me mad in the end- the girl HAS to get the guy in the end! Otherwise its just not happy :(

I still can't believe I haven't seen that movie. I was hesitant to see it originally, but it has been highly recommended to be by so many girls . . . I'm going to have to go hit the redbox on my next day off . . .
